BIG Stars, Tiny Adhesive

God of wonders, beyond our galaxy
You are holy, holy
The Universe declares Your majesty
You are holy, holy

God of Wonders by Chris Tomlin

For You created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13-14

Louie Giglio is a pastor, speaker, and founder of the Passion Movement. He goes on tours across the US, speaking to university students.  During one talk, How Great Is Our God, in Huston, Texas, he used a golf ball to compare the size of the Earth to various stars. (See Part 1 and Part 2.) He continued to speak of God’s creation of the human body, sharing how he learned about laminin. This is a microscopic molecule that holds the cells of the body together. The biggest surprise is the shape it takes.

It’s scientific discoveries like these immense stars and this tiny molecule that bolster my belief in a great Creator.
